About the project

The Summer Jobs Programme offers paid summer work placements for young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of violence.

The programme will provide these young people with direct employment opportunities with employers in their local area. Participants will gain essential skills needed to support future employment opportunities while being paid for their placement. The six-week programme includes a preparation week followed by five weeks of work experience, all with the dedicated support of a youth worker.
