Education Practice Insight Creator (EPIC) Waitlist
We know that education leaders are keen to do all they can to reduce children’s involvement in violence.
To support these efforts, we’re creating a digital tool to enable you to assess your practice against our evidence-informed guidance.
In 2024, we piloted our self-evaluation process with 31 education leaders. Encouragingly, they told us that in under 60 minutes it supported them to reflect, learn and consider changes to practice that would support their students.
- Facilitating reflection: 61% (19 out of 31) found the process either very useful (55%) or extremely useful (6%) for facilitating reflection about practice related to reducing children’s involvement in violence.
- Improving leaders’ knowledge: 87% (27 out of 31) agree (61%) or strongly agree (16%) that the self-evaluation process enhanced their knowledge of evidence-informed practices for reducing children’s involvement in violence.
- Implementing changes to practice: 81% (25 out of 31) of leaders shared they are likely (58%) or very likely (23%) to implement changes or new strategies based on their self-evaluation reflections.
