Location: Central London, In-person 2 days per week

About the Youth Endowment Fund
We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
It’s critical to our mission that we understand how and why young people become involved in violence. The YEF’s work combines conducting rigorous evaluations and research studies with hearing directly from young people – their individual stories and perspectives.
As a part of the Youth Understanding team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people to use their experiences and voices to shape, support, and amplify YEF’s work through the YEF’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB)
Key responsibilities
As a Youth Voice Officer, you will:
- Co-lead the Youth Advisory Board, planning and delivering engaging activities, meetings and events for young people.
- Support Youth Advisory Board members, providing pastoral support, safeguarding, personal development planning, and help with recruitment and induction.
- Champion young people’s lived experience, helping their views shape YEF’s work, priorities and events.
- Amplify young people’s voices, working with the YEF Comms team to share their stories, ideas and experiences.
