Summary
- YEF is seeking a research partner to synthesise research on which children are most vulnerable to perpetrating violence and to gather evidence on the root causes of violence.
- This research will underpin a new online resource that helps decision makers allocate support where it matters most.
- The work is to be completed by 30th September 2026
- The deadline for proposals is 30th May 2025.
Questions and how to apply
- Step 1: By 9th May, applicants should send a brief email to YEF using the email address below stating their intention to submit a proposal. This email does not need to include any proposal details – it simply helps us understand demand. (Note: you may still submit a proposal even if you do not send this email.)
- Step 2: Submit any clarification questions by 9th May.
- Step 3: Final proposals are due by 30th May.

Proposals should be guided by the Call for Proposals document which is available for download. Proposals should not exceed 4,000 words. This word limit excludes the budget, timeline, and any appendices.
Your proposal should respond to the requirements and assessment criteria set out in the Call for Proposals, and include the following:
- Objectives and Approach: Detailed description of how the project will be delivered, the methodological approach, and risks and mitigations.
- Team Experience: Information on relevant qualifications, experience, and roles of team members.
- Proposed Budget using the template provided (below): Breakdown of costs, including VAT considerations if relevant.
- Proposed Timelines: Detailed project plan with milestones.
