Safe Podcast
Conversations about preventing violence affecting
children and young people.

At some point, violence affects us all. For some children, it is a daily reality. Every year, hundreds of young people across England and Wales are killed or injured by a sharp object. 5% of teenagers carry a weapon, 20% are a recent victim of violence and most worry about it.
But whilst violence is happening every day, it is prevented, too – we just don’t hear enough about it. Why does it happen? How can we solve it?
Hosted by Ciaran Thapar, author, youth worker and Director of Public Affairs and Communications at YEF – Safe is a conversation about violence affecting children and young people with those working to stop it.
