Ben Araya Larrain
Driven by a passion for social mobility and improving young people’s outcomes in life, Ben has spent the past 10 years working on education related causes. He started his career working for an education NGO in Hong Kong focused on improving educational outcomes, before moving to another international organization focused on driving school entrepreneurship in East Africa and Central America.
He most recently spent 5 years within further education, working closely with the Department for Education to deliver professional development programmes for senior leaders, as well as running safeguarding networks and PREVENT delivery.
Outside of work, Ben mentors young refugees and asylum seekers through a partner organisation.
