								About the project
The Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) for Conduct Disorder (CD) is a talking therapy with a focus on enhancing mentalizing in the young person and family and through this process is predicted to reduce aggression and violence exhibited by the young person. This programme is focused on those who have been referred into one of the Community Forensic CAMHS (FCAMHS) services in England. Individual MBT-CD sessions are delivered weekly for six months. There are optional monthly family sessions if this is considered safe and appropriate.
