About the project

Choices and Consequences is a two-hour, immersive workshop delivered by the Ben Kinsella Trust at dedicated exhibition spaces in London and Nottingham, combining interactive exhibits, storytelling and guided reflection to help children make safer choices around knife crime. It’s aimed at Year 6 pupils, reaching them before patterns of risk and behaviour become established in adolescence.

To build the evidence for this approach, we’ve funded an efficacy evaluation using a class-level cluster randomised controlled trial. An internal pilot phase will test and refine trial processes, before the trial proceeds at scale.
