A Virtual Learning Café (VLC) run by the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) as part of our YEF Evidence in Practice series.
Join the Youth Endowment Fund for a Virtual Learning Café exploring the role of health systems in violence reduction, with a focus on integrated, child centred support for children and young people with complex needs.
The session will draw on NHS England’s Health and Justice work, including the Framework for Integrated Care, alongside local implementation learning from Coventry and Warwickshire’s ICB led Positive Directions work. We will hear from NHS England on the national health and justice context, and from Coventry and Warwickshire colleagues on how integrated care approaches are being developed in practice across health, youth justice, children’s services, education and the voluntary sector.
The Café will focus on integrated care, co-production, social prescribing, relationship based approaches, case formulation and the practical role of ICBs and health partners in wider violence reduction systems. We will also consider the commissioning and system leadership questions raised by this work, including how needs analysis, test and learn delivery and local implementation learning can inform more sustainable integrated care pathways.
This session is intended as a learning and relationship building conversation. We will explore how health led integrated care approaches are being developed in practice, what relevance they may have for violence reduction, and where further evidence, implementation learning and cross-sector collaboration are needed.
The session will be relevant for colleagues working across health, youth justice, children’s services, education, ICBs, violence reduction partnerships and the voluntary and community sector.
The event will run online using MS Teams on Tuesday 23rd June 26, 1:30-3pm.
